Plan your stay

More time for happy, less time for logistics.

A helpful starting point for an Anaheim family getaway.

Disneyland tickets

Make ticket decisions before travel day.

  • Download the Disneyland app for real-time park info, dining choices, and reservations.
  • Visiting both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure? Look at a Park Hopper ticket.
  • Multi-day tickets don't need to be used on consecutive days, so they're worth it for a flexible trip.
  • A MagicBand+ can be linked to your park admission for park entry, Lightning Lane, and PhotoPass, but you'll still need a separate valid ticket and park reservation.

Baby gear

Bring less, settle in sooner.

We've partnered with BabyQuip so you don't have to pack the crib. Rent cribs, high chairs, strollers, and other baby gear online — BabyQuip delivers, fully sets everything up before you arrive, and picks it back up after you leave, with every item sanitized and safety-checked in between.

Packing tips

Pack for a long day and an easy return.

  • Sunscreen, comfortable clothing, and a portable phone charger for long park days.
  • Bring your own water and snacks. Disneyland allows outside food and non-alcoholic drinks in, just not in glass containers.
  • Comfortable, broken-in shoes make the biggest difference on a full park day.

Day trips

Extend the adventure beyond the park.

  • Beaches: Huntington Beach, with sandy shores, volleyball courts, and the pier.
  • Theme parks: Universal Studios Hollywood, Legoland, SeaWorld San Diego, Knott's Berry Farm, or Six Flags Magic Mountain.
  • San Diego: Balboa Park's museums, gardens, and the San Diego Zoo.
  • Los Angeles: Griffith Observatory, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and the Getty Center or Getty Villa.
